About the artist
Tobias Müller, better known as "Der Kuchenbäcker", was not only one of the first male backbloggers in Germany, he is today one of the most important influencers and multipliers in the field of baking. He loves the bakeries of foreign countries, which he proves with his "Bake and the City" books. He cooperates with well-known companies, is involved in product developments and is booked for events and workshops. His expertise also makes him a popular member of the jury for baking competitions. In 2017 he was a guest juror for MasterChef on TV.
Workshop - Cake Lace - Production of edible cake decoration - 3B.A18
Edible cake lace, also known as cake lace, is not only a great decoration reminiscent of granny's crocheted lace doily. It can also be made with little effort. The workshop offers an introduction into the production of edible lace decorations, as well as tips and tricks around the right working material. The participants make their own cake lace and decorate a cookie topper made of roll fondant, which they can take home with them afterwards.
The workshop will take place at 10 am and 2 pm on both days of the fair. The participation costs 10 € and each workshop offers place for maximally 10 persons.

You wonder why your yeast dough doesn't rise or why you are at war with choux pastry? How does cake airbrush work, how can you make an edible cake top or fondant decorations in no time at all? The pie maker will answer all your questions. At his stand, he'll chat from the sewing box, reveal tips and tricks, and let you see his shoulder. Official cake consultation hours are Saturday and Sunday at 11 am and 3 pm.
